Cyber Project Manager                                                        (JAPO0047 )

Location: Washington, D.C. or Alexandria, VA

 

You will be involved in the early phase of a new program. Participate in the application, system, and infrastructure implementation for high-visibility government engagements. This is a challenging and dynamic environment that combines technical security engineering talent with business consulting skills to deliver high-value client IT security solutions. Collaborate with team leads and clients to appropriately turn functional needs into technical security requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple work streams that include Assessment and Authorization, Security Operations and Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Security Governance and Enterprise Security Strategy

  • Support the implementation of information security continuous monitoring (ISCM), Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) strategies, policies, and supporting technologies

  • Manage a team of security engineers, architects and analysts across the entire solution lifecycle

  • Provide transparency and clear communications on project value, progress and risk

  • Establish strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

  • Implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of collaboration across team and stakeholders

 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in an information security and risk management lead role supporting security programs or security engineering in complex enterprise environments

  • Experience working with Security Authorization requirements, enhancing the security risk posture and analysis/reporting of IT security metrics

  • Experience with enterprise security design and implementation

  • Experience with providing guidance for data protection based on data sensitivity and associated business risk

  • Knowledge of common Web vulnerabilities and experience guiding project teams throughout the remediation effort for discovered vulnerabilities

  • Knowledge of best practices and standards for enterprise security architecture across one or more of the following areas: service-oriented architecture (SOA), enterprise service bus (ESB), business process management, Identity and Access management, collaboration tools, mobility, data analytics, and visualization

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 140,000-150,000
